From November 4 to 7, 2025, Rimini (Italy) expo hosted “Ecomondo” (https://www.ecomondo.com/en/about/ecomondo-fair), the international benchmark for ecological transition and the circular economy. This 28th edition presented a program full of innovations, visionary projects, and unmissable opportunities for companies, start-ups, researchers, innovators, and policymakers. UNIVPM organized an exhibition where all projects on ecological restoration and innovative solutions for monitoring the interventions such as REDRESS, CLIMAREST and DIG4ECO were presented. During the event, UNIVPM students of the international master IMBRSEA on the course of ecological restoration in marine ecosystems were engaged to explore the several events promoted by BlueMissionMed CSA, in collaboration with the European Commission and the Scientific Technical Committee of Ecomondo. Particular attention and interest were dedicated to visit and follow high-level events, thematic sessions, roundtables, showcases, and networking opportunities under the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” in protecting aquatic and marine ecosystems, restoring biodiversity, managing water resources, and promoting a sustainable blue economy. A roundtable on BlueMissionMed: Powering the EU Mission Ocean and Waters in the Mediterranean saw a large participation of experts, stakeholders and economists.
UNIVPM shared the successful experience on marine ecosystems restoration achieved with REDRESS, CLIMAREST and DIG4ECO projects to explore partnership opportunities within the BlueMissionMed community.
